Corporate Snr Accountant needs 2-3 years of accounting experience required; public accounting experience
Corporate Snr Accountant requires:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
• Between 2-3 years of accounting experience required; public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of moderately complex procedures and practices of accounting and GAAP principles
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the use of pivot tables, preferred.
• Experience performing and understanding foreign exchange transactions preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Financials preferred
Corporate Snr Accountant duties:
• Prepare proposed journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate the accounting close for the corporate operating unit, including actual vs. budget/forecast analysis for corporate costs.
• Assist with corporate and consolidated debt, processing all related journal entries including accrued interest, amortization of deferred financing costs, discounts/premiums, associated reconciliations, and roll forward preparation.
• Preparation of the consolidated Accounts Receivable and analysis.
• Assist in the internal financial reporting process including the consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information.
• Facilitate internal and external audit requests including process walkthroughs.
