About the Job
Duties include:
• Determine hydraulic parameters for an irrigation system.
• Implement an irrigation program.
• Schedule irrigations.
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring irrigation systems, equipment and plant.
• Ability to interpret alarms, troubleshoot and take necessary action.
• Conduct basic irrigation maintenance tasks.
• Negotiate and monitor contracts.
Skills/Qualifications and Experience Required for the Role

• At least a relevant AQF Cert II or equivalent AND at least 1 year (20+hpw) relevant post qualifications experience OR Have at least 2 years (38+hpw) relevant experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in maintaining and operating protected cropping water and irrigation systems.
• Proven ability to effectively undertake operational troubleshooting of common water system and equipment issues within a glasshouse.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with others to ensure team success.
• Be outcome focused with a track record of achieving performance, quality and safety targets.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to use IT systems. Experience in Priva is highly desirable.
• Outstanding commitment to WHS, quality, hygiene and food safety.
• Ability to work effectively and respectfully in a multicultural and multilingual working environment.

Salary: $56,395-$61,470 p.a. plus super.
