We are seeking " Maintenance Technician " for one of our esteemed clients based at Anderson, IN and your experience aligns exceptionally well with what they are.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility is to ensure the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing routine and preventive maintenance on engines, motors, drives, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, feeders, and production machines. This includes following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Work independently to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
• Calibrate and maintain feeders.
• Diagnose mechanical issues by observing machinery, listening for irregularities, and using precision testing tools.
• Disassemble faulty devices, removing defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools, and inspecting parts for wear or damage.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools.
• Assemble, install, or repair electrical systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Operate welding or cutting equipment to join or cut metal parts.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments, including electrical and electronic testing devices.
• Adjust device parts and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Minimize equipment downtime by educating production workers on preventive maintenance and monitoring their adherence to practices.
• Maintain accurate inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies, anticipate needs, and place orders as necessary.
• Keep the team informed by documenting and communicating maintenance actions, issues, and ongoing requirements, including recording maintenance costs and details.

Required Skills & Abilities:
• Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong electrical knowledge (480v AC, switchgear, 24v DC, 110v AC).
• Experience with PLCs, including working with touchscreens, changing values and bits, and installation.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
