About the Job
Duties include:
• Driving and manoeuvring plant on site including forklifts, telehandlers and loaders.
• Monitoring condition of mobile plant, performing minor repairs and reporting mechanical faults.
• Maintaining records of daily operations.
• Strictly adhering to safe methods or work.
• Being vigilant of the working environment for hazardous situations and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of self and others.
Skills/Qualifications and Experience Required for the Role

• At least a relevant AQF Cert II or equivalent AND at least 1 year (20+hpw) Relevant experience OR At least 2 years (10+hpw) relevant experience AND at least 2 years post qualifications experience
• Ability to conduct visual checks and trouble shoot common problems and potential safety issues with mobile plant.
• Proven ability to commit to working positively, constructively and effectively in a team environment.
• The ability to relate well to others, including the ability to work in a respectful and collaborative manner.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend written procedures and complete operational records.
• High level of commitment to health and safety, hygiene and food safety procedures and practices.
• A willingness to work outside normal hours, including working night shifts and weekends if required.

Salary: $56,395-$61,470 p.a. plus super

To accommodate our continued business growth, a $67 million expansion project has been completed, increasing our production area by 33% and creating an additional 150 jobs onsite. This expansion project brings our onsite operation to 40ha of glasshouse, 2.5ha propagation nursery, 2 large packing facilities and over 800 staff.
