Job Description:
Banning and Son Inc., a San Diego-based, home remodeling company with over 25 years of experience, is currently seeking a friendly and personable Sales Support Representative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone that wants to build a life-long connection with the Banning and Son team. We strive to provide high quality home remodeling services for a variety of local customers.

Duties will include meeting with potential clients for bathroom consultations as well as negotiating estimates with potential clients for the close. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of bathroom remodeling and design, and also superb organizational skills to track the progress of the projects. Previous experience working in the construction industry or trades is required.

Sales Support Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
•Giving consultations and estimates to a range of prospective clients.
•Preparing and submitting estimates for prospective clients.
•Coordinating sales efforts with our office team.
•Understanding the process of lead generation for Home Depot Service Providers.
•Follow-up on Home Depot leads through the phone
•Tracking Home Depot leads by inputting and updating records on the status of those projects.
•Visiting clients and conducting in-home consultations with prospective clients to evaluate their needs and provide expert advice on bathroom remodels.
•Knowledge and familiarity with the latest trends in bathroom design along with the remodeling process.
•Knowledge in bathroom plumbing, electrical work and layout to conceptualize and communicate the feasibility of their project
•Answering client questions about all things related to bathroom remodeling and our processes for completing projects.
•Understanding and promoting the value of Banning and Son Inc, showing our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, earning the customers trust and confidence in our company and services.
•Upsell prospective client on features that will provide additional revenue
•Communicating estimates with prospective clients and negotiating pricing when needed.
•Ability to utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals.

Sales Support Representative Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree preferred not required for position.
2+ years’ experience working in the construction industry, preferably as a skilled laborer or tradesman.
•EXPERIENCE WORKING IN CONSTRUCTION OR TRADES IS A MUST.
•Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
•A commitment to excellent customer service.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with prospective clients.
•Communicate to prospective clients in a understandable and clear way
•Strong people skills with friendly demeanor
•Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and the ability to recommend solutions.
•Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
•Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
•Outstanding organizational skills
•Strong attention to detail.
•Competency in office applications and a Windows-based environment. Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
