We are seeking " Estimator " for one of our esteemed clients based at St. louis, MO and your experience aligns exceptionally well with what they are.

Essential Functions
• Collaborate with the project team to determine the approach for proposals.
• Review and interpret project requests for proposals (RFPs) and preliminary plans to develop detailed quantity surveys.
• Obtain accurate takeoffs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Conduct conceptual estimating based on preliminary project parameters.
• Prepare project cost analyses, including material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
• Understand project timelines and deadlines.
• Keep up-to-date with product, vendor, subcontractor, and government requirements.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings.
• Travel to project sites to assess field conditions and meet with local trade contractors.

Minimum Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and qualifications:
• Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management
• 10+ years of experience in bidding commercial and industrial construction projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction building methods
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with project partners, subcontractors, and vendors
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with Destini-Estimator, Pantera, and Bluebeam takeoff is preferred
