TQI Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Maintenance/Logistics Analyst ready to deliver outstanding support to our Navy client located in Norfolk, VA. The Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed CASREP data tracking and CASREP briefing support for surface combatant ships. The briefs are to aid USFF N43’s ship readiness analysis, decision-making, and management.

Job Description:
The candidate will work collaboratively with a team of professionals providing Fleet Maintenance Directorate, Surface Ship Maintenance Division (N431), Commander, USFF, Norfolk, Virginia. This work requires a 3rd shift work schedule (0300-1100) to pull Casualty Report (CASREP) data and be prepared for morning briefings to senior leadership.

Job Duties Include:
1. Screen a large volume of daily Casualty Reports (CASREP) data and assemble all data needed to populate detailed briefs for USFF N43 and other commands as directed.
2. Brief material status to senior military personnel.
3. Interact with Surface Type Commander and Naval Systems Commands personal when required.
4. Monitor fleet CASREP and system / repair parts cannibalization data, analyze data for a wide range of topics (frequency of occurrence, applicable systems, cost) and report findings.
5. Work is fast paced environment and briefs have strict deadlines to comply with submission requirements.
Key Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Candidates must possess and maintain an active Interim Secret or Secret level security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline. As a substitute, eight years of “hands-on” experience in a combination of Navy automated supply/maintenance management may be utilized. (Note: Training related to the “degree substitute” provided at Navy schools is considered “hands on” experience.)
• In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, the Analyst must have seven years to nine years of experience in Navy automated supply, logistics, inventory management, financial management, and the functionality of the automated supply systems.
• Must have general knowledge of all Naval Systems to include but not limited to shore and shipboard Hull, Mechanical, Engineering, Combat and Communication (radio and network).
• Must have a general knowledge of Navy Fleet Operational schedules and requirements.
• Must have general knowledge of Naval Messaging System.
General Requirements:
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be highly organized, able to manage and maintain many clients simultaneously.
• Candidates should have familiarity with CASREP reporting requirements done on Surface USN ships. Must have familiarity with databases (OARS, MFOM, NAVSUP One-Touch Supply). Two years of experience as a senior-level analyst and a supervisor.
• Experience in automated supply/maintenance management systems must be with NTCSS (R-Supply Unit or Force Level) software from a Stock Control manager aspect to effectively analyze a wide array of file conditions. Possess expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Navy staff organization, roles and responsibilities including title 10 authority.
• Familiarity with Navy supply and 3M maintenance relationships, organizations, and management databases is highly desirable.
• The ideal candidate would have experience obtained as a former U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Logistics Specialist with tours on LHA/LHD/CG/DDG class Navy ships.
• Ability to analyze logistic data, reach conclusions, and develop corrective measures as needed. Possess strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations.
