DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES
The consultant drives the marketing strategy supporting customer segmentation and multi- channel integrated marketing campaign development and execution for assigned lines of business. Directly manages the marketing databases (Snowflake) and toolsets delivering state of the art cross channel campaigns and real time decision programs driving consumer response. Thought leader in leveraging specific marketing data to identify key client targets for marketing communications (Email, Direct Mail, Calling, Interactive/Digital, Web, etc.). Expertise in marketing analytics and statistical measurement of marketing programs. The consultant must have excellent communication skills and must be able to communicate about the techniques developed and results of analysis both to executives and other analysts in the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS – ESSENTIAL
• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required and equivalent work experience required.
• Strong SAS Analytical experience – Customer Analytics, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), Campaign Development, Segmentation, Clustering, Propensity Modeling, Lifetime Value Analysis, predictive and response modeling
• 5+ years of customer analytics (profitability and marketing)
• 5+ years of general business analytics (segmentation, clustering, and propensity experience)
• 3-5 years of SQL 3-5 years of SQL

 - Operationalize clients modeling efforts to Viya – VDMML
 - Microsoft Azure cloud environment
 - Snowflake database

Nice to have experience (preferred but not required):
• Experience developing reports and content with SAS 9.4 including: • 5+ years of SAS\SQL programming, data architecting and technical design.
• SAS Enterprise Guide experience.
• Tableau report and dashboarding development experience.
• Snowflake database experience is preferred.
• Lead and/or actively participate in SAS knowledge-sharing activities.
• Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient.
• Good written and spoken communications skills in English and thought-leadership skills.
• Review teams current modeling approach utilizing various methods (SAS, R, Python) and make recommendations to team for managing models, tuning models or refining models using SAS Solution
• Consulting support for on-going propensity modeling, segmentation and campaign development.
• Propensity of brands, logistical regression, customer segmentation
• Requires ability to use advanced analytic skills for segmenting / microsegment customer base
• Operationalize clients modeling efforts to Viya – VDMML
• Leading or assisting in activities related to SAS Digital solution implementation project discovery, definition, design, development, and/or implementation of SAS’ Digital Solution(s).
• Understanding customer requests and translating them into actionable tasks for the delivery of digital campaigns and design for SAS Digital solutions
• Apply deep marketing strategy and execution expertise to the team on topics such as, but not limited to, re-defining consumer segmentation and activation plans, implementing web and mobile personalization, test-and-learn experiments to measure and validate attribution and return on marketing investment across digital and traditional channels.
• Provide expert, hands-on domain and technology knowledge across the digital landscape while maintaining an up-to-date view on emerging digital experience technologies
• Be an active, engaged listener of business needs and aligns delivery experience to best suit customer in purchased SAS solutions
• Adhere to and follows SAS’s delivery best practice methodology for solution implementation
• Build trusted relationships with peer organizations in technical support, product
